This level of nursing skill assures patients that they will receive the best care with constant nursing assessment both in the office setting and following procedures. Our staff will also educate you about the preparation for procedures and/or ordered tests and answer any nursing questions regarding your care. Because we strive to tailor our care to each individual patient, any questions regarding orders (colonoscopic exams or ordered tests, ie CT's, x-rays) need to be addressed by our clinical staff. If you need to cancel an appointment for an office visit or procedure, please notify our staff immediately. For prescription refills, allow 48 hours for the staff to obtain the authorization since our physicians are scheduled out of the office on certain days to perform scoping procedures. Front Office Staff: Our front office staff is also committed to making your visit with us efficient and friendly. New patients will receive a call to verify their appointment and remind them to bring any medical records necessary for the visit. They will also remind you that co-pays and deductibles will be expected at the time of the visit. When arriving at the office, our front desk receptionists will greet you and take the yellow forms mailed to you prior to your visit with the pertinent information to complete the registration process. You will also be asked to complete a form that will require your signature giving us authorization to bill insurance and obtain any medical records necessary for your care. |
